Celebrating 1 million registered users with EZCast statistics (infographics)

Since the inception of the EZCast brand in 2014, we have accumulated 1 million registered users!

To celebrate this event, we are sharing the statistics of how our best customers use our devices in the infographics below, and running a Facebook competition!

As of June 2017, EZCast has been downloaded and installed on more than 4 million devices, and growing every day. The number is around the same as the population of New Zealand, one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

When we first started building EZCast, we wanted to make it the most liberal WiFi display technology with the best cross platform compatibility. So our technology works on all the popular operating systems, such as Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, with the mobile devices accounting for more than 80% of all installations.

It makes sense that the mobile users see the most value from EZCast because it means mobile contents can be mirrored on HDTVs for maximum media enjoyment. Leading to more than 500 thousand monthly active users (MAU) on mobile.

We are seeing at least 77.9% of screen casting activities are in 720p HD format (1280x720), with the rest in higher 1080p full HD format (1920x1080). This means our users are keeping up with the latest technologies and pushing our EZCast to deliver the best media content mirroring experience.

Based on our data, our users’ average screen casting session is around 16 minutes, with 17% of sessions longer than 30 minutes. Greater engagement numbers means our users are spending more time using EZCast and watching longer and better content.

EZCast technologies are being used in 216 countries around the world, with majority of users across Asia, Europe and Americas. Step by step, we are heading in the right direction to become the most popular screen mirroring application in the world.
